Emerald Lake Lodge, Field

Emerald Lake Lodge is an exclusive year-round resort. The historic Lodge is located on a 13-acre property on the shore of Emerald Lake, in Yoho National Park, just 25 miles west of Lake Louise. The lodge features 85 non-smoking units in cabins which surround the main lodge and lake.

King Pacific Lodge, Princess Royal Island

In the heart of the temperate rainforest, there are three seasons during which King Pacific Lodge operates- each encompassing a unique experience. Visit in June, when the energy of the ocean prevails. During the height of the Pacific salmon run enjoy ocean fishing, kayaking and a gourmet beach picnic. Learn from the ancient stewards of the land- the Gitga' at First Nation and join them in their traditional seaweed harvest. In June, the wealth of nutrients from the sea manifest in signature spa treatments and in the gourmet menu served.
Late in July, the transition between ocean and land begins as salmon move upstream, high alpine snow lines recede and the energy of land begins to exert itself. Activities include ocean and river fly fishing, whale watching and glacier picnics. Visit Hartley Bay, home of the Gitga' at First Nation and learn of their ancient traditions as stewards of this beautiful land. The unique locality of this region is again expressed in the gourmet dining experience prepared by the Lodge's chef. A feature spa treatment is the starry night experience- an evening excursion under the stars, star gazing, hoping for the aurora borealis and searching for phosphorescence followed by a spa treatment of choice.

Finally, in September, the energy of the land prevails as the bounty of the temperate rainforest nourishes the wildlife that abound. Search for the elusive "Spirit Bear", a rare cream coloured black bear found only in this region or spot wolf tracks along the beach. Witness black bears and grizzlies as they feed on salmon migrating upstream and heli-hike in a remote wilderness like no other on earth. Feel the energy of the earth in the classic "hot stone" massage treatment and feast on the harvest of the land in the dining room.
